According to this meta suggestion, single-use tags will no longer expire if they have a tag wiki.
We have a historic problem whereby users will ask about a game system (and a tag will be created for it), but that will be the only question on the system, dooming the tag to later be obliterated and, in a lot of cases, the context for the question will be lost.
If there are any low-use system tags at risk of obliteration and which should be preserved, help save them!
You can do it in one of two ways: either ask another question with that tag (or retag an existing one), or give it a tag wiki to prevent its tragic demise.
Or just get rid of the tag. Remove it from its only question, propose a synonym, or retag that question.
- To come: maybe a list of questions whose tags have been obliterated, and those tags need revival and preservation.
Existing single-question system tags in need of attention
Update this list when you do stuff!
Be careful we're not editing a dozen questions at a time, since it would be disruptive to new questions.
