Mods can’t and didn’t cancel any votes here No worries, mods are unable to affect votes. That’s not a feature or power we have. Votes are sacrosanct at RPG.se and people can vote however their consciences are called to. (Only Staff — Stack Exchange employees who rank above the volunteer mods — can invalidate votes, and then only when revenge voting or ...

Many badges don't get awarded the very moment you meet their criteria. Instead, they get checked and awarded periodically by scripts that run every few minutes or hours (sometimes lots of hours), according to how server-intensive the badge is to check for, and how often people get it. You'll probably get the badge later today. If you don't get it for a ...

You had an edit collision. As you said, someone else tagged the question immediately. That edit had probably already happened before you hit Save. (You just didn't find out about it until a few seconds later, because nothing is truly instant.) So when you did try to hit Save, the system saw your edit amounted to changing nothing — the tag was already ...

A suggestion to have the reputation portion of the test that puts a new post into the Late Answer queue raised from 10 rep to 50 has just been implemented. This dumped many old “new” late answers into the queue from users who have 11–50 reputation. This is network-wide — fellow mods from other sites started asking about their review queues spiking, and that ...

Based on clicking on the number of names, I saw your current name and "Anonymous," likely from when you first signed up and hadn't input a name yet. Recent names is a new profile feature that allows you to see what aliases you've used in the past 90 days. For example, I used to go by my full name on Stack Exchange, but have since defaulted to using only my ...

The reputation on Meta is only updated once an hour. See for example My “Meta” rep on Photo.SE differs from my main rep on MSE. The highest answer links to "What is Meta?" in the Help Center, which states (emphasis mine): Votes on meta do not affect your reputation; your meta reputation is the same as your reputation on Stack Overflow (synchronized ...

You need to edit separate posts, not make 80 individual edits. If you've more than doubled up your edits you may need to go a bit farther. You can check your current progress by viewing the Review page. Your progress towards your next edit badge is in the middle/lower of the right hand column. The full requirements can be found on meta.stackexchange.com ...

It's a feature of the system. See this question on Meta.SO from 2011: How was this answer posted after this question was closed? In short: when a question gets closed, your client (as in: the browser, or the mobile app) will notice, tell you that you can't post an answer any longer, and the page will not cooperate in letting you do so. If your client doesn'...

There is no mobile version of that page. There's a lot of site functionality that doesn't have mobile versions. This isn't the most commonly used page, so it's not really a big deal.

This is not a bug. The navigation is not supposed to show up where you've highlighted; nothing makes it show up there. If you look in the top left you will find a hamburger menu beside the Stack Exchange logo. Click that. That is where you will find the navigation menu now. The hamburger menu appears on phones and narrow windows or when you have chosen to ...

I can see it just fine. My guess is that you have only looked at the site while logged in, correct? The welcome banner is only shown to anonymous users. Open RPG.se in an incognito window (Ctrl-Shift-N) and you should see it.

That's not the ad posted to our community promotion ads list. That's a hot network question ad. Everything is working here by design. Once in a while, the site will pick a random hot network question and present it in the same slot as our Community Ads. Here that one is in the SE network hot questions list: Apparently the Movies & TV ads are pretty ...

It's an SE-wide April Fools joke. Yes, a bit of a blah one. See What is "chat with an expert"? for more on that.

Have you "edited 80 posts," though? Based on a quick glance at your revisions, you've made multiple revisions to some posts (not that there's anything wrong with that ;) ), so it's possible that 162 revisions is actually only spread over (for example) 70 individual posts. I have 228 revisions on Board and Card Games, per the review page, I've only modified ...
