Personally I don't think we should wait at all, since they can fix the question once it's closed. If you leave a bad question open, it will usually draw more answers and views than it deserves.

Flag the comment as Obsolete (that's an option under the flag) or if all the comments on a post are obsolete, flag the post for moderator attention. We'll clean it up.
