The former is about a tool RPGers have been using for RPG purposes and asking if/how it works; the latter is a question about the veracity of an RPGing myth/rumour. Both of those are already only borderline on-topic though. The questions following on from them are qualitatively different: they're no longer grounded in RPGs — they're only grounded in extrapolations of the previous questions. If the first two were borderline, the later ones are well past the border stones. | |

Both have more than 5k rep and are undeniably RPG experts that enjoyed giving exemplary answers to those questions, so this explanation should take those into account before declaring the entire subject to be off-topic and potentially offensive. | |
