The primary argument isn't that fantasy sports use stats, it's that they generally lack the "shared experience" of the fiction which --in RPGs-- stats exist to support. | |

Grab any character sheet near at hand and you've got dozens of stats that are required to make that character work. I have no real knowledge of Fantasy sports games, but if the primary argument is that they use 'stats' then unfortunately that puts us squarely in the same ballpark (yes, you can laugh now). | |
